  • Not pregnant or nursing

Prescription Guidelines for LASIK

  • Nearsightedness (Myopia): Up to -12.00 diopters
  • Farsightedness (Hyperopia): Up to +6.00 diopters
  • Astigmatism: Up to 6.00 diopters
  • Combined prescriptions may have different limits
  • Age-related vision changes (presbyopia) may require different approaches
  • Custom LASIK can treat higher prescriptions in some cases
